Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Figo (“Figo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information about you when you visit our website at usefigo.com (the “Site”), join our waitlist, or otherwise interact with us.

This page is about the marketing site. If you are a recruiter using the Figo product, or a candidate applying through a career page powered by Figo, separate notices apply — see How Figo’s AI works and Security for product-level data handling, or contact your employer for the candidate-facing privacy notice they publish.

We’ve tried to write this in plain language. If anything is unclear, email hello@usefigo.com.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you give us

When you join our waitlist or contact us, you may share:

  • Email address — required to confirm your spot and send waitlist updates.
  • Name, company name, and company size — optional, to help us tailor early access.
  • Anything else you tell us — for example, in an email reply or a support request.

1.2 Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we (or our service providers) may collect:

  • Device and browser data — user-agent string, language, and approximate region inferred from your IP address.
  • Referral and campaign data — the page that referred you (HTTP referrer) and any UTM parameters in the URL you arrived through.
  • Cookieless analytics signals — see our Cookie Policy for what we measure and how. We deliberately do not set tracking cookies on this site.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for cross-site advertising.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and waitlist.
  • Send confirmation, transactional, and — only with your consent where required — occasional product-update emails.
  • Understand which channels send us interested users.
  • Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security issues.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

3. Legal bases (EEA / UK)

If you’re in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data under one or more of the following legal bases: (a) your consent, which you can withdraw at any time; (b) our legitimate interests in running, improving, and securing the Site; or (c) legal obligation.

4. Sharing your information

We share information with a small set of service providers that help us operate, under contract:

  • A managed database and authentication provider in the European Union, used to store waitlist signups.
  • A transactional email provider operating under Standard Contractual Clauses, used to send waitlist confirmations.
  • A cookieless web-traffic analytics provider in the European Union.
  • A cookieless product-analytics provider in the European Union, running in memory-only mode (no cookies, no local storage, no cross-session identity).
  • A global hosting provider for the Site itself.

Figo product sub-processors (LLM and voice infrastructure, etc.) are summarised at /legal/sub-processors and the full named list is provided on request — those services do not handle marketing-site data.

We may also share information when required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (in which case we’ll notify you).

5. International data transfers

Marketing-site primary data resides in the EU. Transactional email delivery is handled by a provider in the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses. The vendor list is available on request — see /legal/sub-processors.

6. Data retention

We keep waitlist information for as long as you remain on the waitlist or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. Aggregate or de-identified data may be retained for longer to help us understand product and channel performance.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Delete your data (the “right to be forgotten”).
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@usefigo.com. We will respond within 30 days. You can also unsubscribe from any non- transactional email using the link at the bottom of the message.

If you’re a California resident, you have additional rights under the CCPA / CPRA. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

8. How Figo’s AI uses information (product-level)

Where you encounter Figo’s AI features (Cowork for recruiters, the enrichment conversation for candidates), the following architectural commitments apply:

  • The enrichment conversation runs as real-time speech-to-text; no audio file is recorded or stored.
  • Figo’s AI does not score, rank, or make hiring decisions about candidates. AI-extracted profile data is reviewed and approved by the candidate before any recruiter sees it.
  • Customer and candidate data is not used to train external AI models.
  • Primary storage and AI inference both run in the European Union.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, however; if you believe your interaction with the Site is no longer secure, please notify us at hello@usefigo.com. Product-level security commitments are described in our Security overview.

10. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

11. Cookies

See our Cookie Policy for details on the (small) set of storage we do use, and how to manage your preferences at any time.

12. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll let you know by email or by posting a notice on the Site before the change takes effect.

13. Contact

Questions, requests, or complaints? Email us at hello@usefigo.com.

If you’re in the EEA or UK and we don’t resolve your concern, you also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
